OPC Router 3 combines an all new user interface with enhanced communication features maintaining the simple “drag & drop” configuration of its approved 2.x releases. Exchange your data between your systems – whenever it’s needed, regardless the amount.

So what is OPC Router?

A small software tool working as Windows service. It is designed to transfer any data between OPC servers, databases, web services, ERP systems like SAP^® systems, Semiramis and others, sending e-mails, making phone calls and much more. Each type of system is connected by its own plug-in.

How does it work?

The user interface allows you to configure the plug-ins, which mainy means entering the access data of systems to be connected. Next step: Connect e. g. OPC items with table columns by mouse action “drag & drop”. Define the trigger. Save configuration and start the service. OPC Router is reliable and consumes only few of its computer’s resources. A separate status window allows you to monitor the Router’s work.

How is it licensed?

One single server license for any number of connections and transfers. Only plug-ins you really need are licensed.

• OPC plug-in connects all kind of PLC via any OPC server. The plug-in supports access path, items can be browsed with integrated item browser. Triggers can be set as time trigger, as bit trigger with bit reset, answer and error bits, as datachange trigger with tolerance, min/max interval, threshold, increment.
• Database plug-in supports natively MS SQL®, Oracle®, MySQL®, XML-files, Access and all other SQL databases via ODBC/OLE DB. SQL insert, update, select and delete are possible with dynamic SQL statements.
  
• E-mails are created with placeholders, so that actual values can be inserted while sending mail.
  
• Transfers can be defined with multiple steps.
  
• Multiple triggers can be linked with logical AND or OR.
• Redundancy possible.
• Complex issues can be programmed via integrated C# editor.
