Basic and product training
Working with OPC technology is our craft and our products are our tools. We are happy to give you an in-depth view of our toolbox and show you to use it to collect and combine data and make it available where and when you need it.
Individual training
The world of Industry 4.0 is diverse, and so too is the prior knowledge that each user brings to the table. We are happy to train you individually in line with your needs and your particular focus – online or on your company premises.
Training at inray
Our training offers
We offer regular basic and product training courses – online or individually on your company premises. In addition to our standard training courses, you can also book individual training courses in line with your level of knowledge or desired focus.
Our basic and product training courses teach you to design a visualisation page yourself, to connect a machine to the data acquisition system or to compile a report, so as to make full use of our systems’ possibilities. You ought to have basic PC skills, but it makes no difference to us whether you come from the world of SAP or whether you are a PLC specialist: We will guide you step by step through the new terrain.
We also offer individual appointments for online training courses. Please feel free to contact us.
You are not yet an inray customer? The know-how you acquire during our training courses will allow you to test inray’s software thoroughly in your own company.
Conditions
- Training via web meeting is usually scheduled for 2 mornings of 3 hours each, with a total of 2 additional hours of preparation.
- Individual appointments can be scheduled for training courses.
- The number of participants is limited to six persons per training.
- In addition, you will receive a certificate of attendance and the training materials as a PDF document upon completion of the training.
- Training courses can be held on your own premises (individual or combined). Please ask us for an offer.

Training contents
Basic training OPC / OPC UA
Getting started with OPC technology: In this course you will learn the basics of the OPC specifications DA and UA (Unified Architecture) using the example of KEPServerEX, configure the required system environment and commission an OPC server. Using different clients, you will gather experience in accessing OPC servers and their data.
Individual training
In order to meet the demands of your own Industry 4.0 project in your company, we also offer training courses tailored to your needs. This allows you to master your specific challenges with the appropriate know-how and to advance your project.
Tutorials
We offer you the possibility to request a free and non-binding access to our video tutorials. Our video tutorials give you an in-depth insight into the software and also answer questions about specific topics related to the use of the OPC Router.

In our beginner training course, you will learn how to set up the communication with just a few mouse clicks. The strong practical focus of the course makes it easy for you to apply your knowledge in your own company. PLC specialists learn the basics of SAP® interfaces, while SAP® experts get to know the manufacturing world. After the course, both sides are able to connect their system worlds in the simplest possible way, thereby guaranteeing a continuous flow of information “from the shopfloor to the top floor” - an essential requirement of Industry 4.0.

The OPC Router offers all the possibilities for taking over the entire communication between production and IT, and connecting systems from the control system to MES and ERP systems. In our beginner training course, you will learn how to set up complete MDE projects with just a few mouse clicks. The strong practical focus of the course makes it easy for you to apply your knowledge in your own company and to provide targeted information. The course is equally suitable for IT professionals and PLC specialists: Like the OPC Router, it brings the two worlds together.
KEPServerEX: Configuring OPC Servers
Your gateway to the PLC – Your pathway to Industry 4.0: Configuring an OPC server is simple. However, this training course offers you a leg-up: in addition to important OPC basics, our product training course deals specifically with configuring our preferred OPC server. Our courses are conducted by Kepware-certified trainers!
