pronubes 1.5: Data Flows That Think for Themselves<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In production, things rarely go according to plan: systems experience brief outages, data changes only occasionally, and similar processes are maintained in many different places. With pronubes 1.5, data flows therefore make their own decisions, handle errors in a controlled manner, and transmit only what is truly relevant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Logic Directly in the Data Flow<\/strong>
At the heart of this release are four new building blocks. With Conditions (IF)<\/strong> A single flow branches out depending on the situation, rather than requiring multiple flows. Functions (FX)<\/strong> They map recurring processes centrally and can be used in any number of flows. The Error Handling (Try\/Catch)<\/strong> detects failures in target systems, automatically repeats processes, and forwards problem reports to the appropriate parties. The Change Gate<\/strong> It only forwards data when a user-defined relevant change occurs. This reduces the load on databases, networks, and cloud storage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Variables Under Control<\/strong>
Variables can now be organized into folders. Passwords and API keys are stored in encrypted form, and, if desired, pronubes automatically aggregates measurement values into key metrics such as the average, minimum, maximum, or total for a given time period. In addition, a single flow can serve many similar systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Central Certificate Management<\/strong>
The IT department can now issue, renew, and revoke OPC UA certificates for all installations via a central server (OPC UA GDS). pronubes Edge automatically applies changes and continues to operate using the most recently known certificates in the event of a server outage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More Highlights<\/strong>
pronubes Edge automatically creates and maintains tables in SQL Server, Oracle, SAP HANA, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. Unused connections can be deactivated or started only as needed and do not count toward the license. An optional automatic logout feature enhances security at shared workstations. The switch to .NET 10 provides greater stability, and several third-party components have been updated as a precaution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Secure Update<\/strong>
Existing installations will continue to run as usual after the update. New features will only take effect once you enable them. Changes to existing features will only take effect once you intentionally republish the calling flow, to ensure that nothing changes unnoticed in production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
