Novotek's 40th Anniversary – inray in Malmö

At the end of last week, it was time for the inray team to pack their bags and head to Sweden! The Novotek Group celebrated its 40th anniversary in Malmö, and as a long-standing partner, we were honored to be there.
What began in Sweden in 1986 has evolved over four decades into an international corporation with approximately 20 locations in 12 countries and about 200 employees. This success story was celebrated in Malmö with a multi-day event that brought together employees from across the Novotek Group as well as selected technology partners, including inray, HighByte, AMDT, and Velotic Software.
Discussions, presentations, and a look into the future of Industry 4.0
Our time in Malmö was marked by in-depth professional discussions, engaging presentations, and the opportunity to meet colleagues from various Novotek locations in person. For inray, it was also a welcome opportunity to showcase our solutions to an international audience: We presented the OPC Router as a central integration platform for connecting a wide variety of systems and machines, as well as pronubes, our cloud solution for the secure and scalable networking of production data.
Both topics struck a chord at the event, as a common thread ran through all the presentations: The future of Industry 4.0 will not be shaped by isolated, siloed solutions, but rather by open, interoperable systems, a keen focus on AI for smart production, and strong partnerships.
A partnership that has stood the test of time
What particularly impressed us at this event was this: Ultimately, it’s not just technology that makes a partnership successful—it’s the people behind it. Novotek understands better than almost any other partner how to combine technological excellence with genuine closeness: to customers, to its own teams, and also to us as a partner. It is this human element that makes our long-standing collaboration so valuable. Everywhere we went, we met colleagues who, with genuine dedication and personal commitment, ensure that solutions like the OPC Router and pronubes reach end customers and create real added value for them.
That’s exactly what made the event in Malmö so special: It wasn’t just about products and roadmaps, but about people who are passionately working toward a shared vision. People who don’t just envision the future of Industry 4.0, but want to actively help shape it. It is this combination of personal trust and technical depth that truly sustains a partner ecosystem.
