Condition (IF)
With the new IF condition, if-then logic can be configured directly as a building block. This allows decisions to be made within the data flow without additional programming. As a result, workflows become clearer, faster to adapt, and easier to maintain.
Function (FX)
Recurring logic does not need to be written multiple times. With functions, it is created centrally once and then called from various locations. Changes are made in only one place and are then consistently available everywhere.
Try/Catch
Try/Catch allows you to handle errors and exceptions in a targeted manner. Failed operations can be automatically retried or processed in a controlled manner. At the same time, errors can be reported in a targeted way without unnecessarily interrupting the entire process.
New Variables
Variable management becomes more flexible and organized. Variables can be organized hierarchically into folders, sensitive values can be stored as secret strings, and additional parameters can be stored directly within the variable. This makes organization easier, even for larger projects.
OPC UA GDS
Managing OPC UA certificates becomes significantly easier. Using OPC UA GDS, the OPC Router can obtain and renew the necessary certificates on its own. This reduces manual effort and simplifies the secure operation of OPC UA connections.
Change Gate
With the Change Gate, data is only transferred to a target system when its value has actually changed. This reduces the number of unnecessary transfers and eases the load on downstream systems—especially when dealing with frequently updated process data.
